Jane Cowmeadow

Jane CowmeadowDirector
Jane set up the company in London having worked in PR and Events for ten years. She has worked as the head of PR for the London Marathon for five years – 1996-2001, and as a consultant for majors sports marketing and sponsorship agencies, Hill and Knowlton, Ketchum Sponsorship and Karen Earl Sponsorship. Her roles have covered: compiling sponsorship exploitation strategies for global events; PR campaigns for brands and events and strategic advice on ‘athletics’ projects from a marketing and promotional position.

Jane established the management side of the business alongside the PR consultancy and works with a very high profile group of athletes. The agency works very closely with the talent it manages and Jane is involved with all business development, contract negotiation, exploitation and day to day talent management.

Jane was a consultant on the successful London 2012 Olympic Bid, working on its ambassador programme.

Suzi Stedman

Suzy Steadman Account Director
As a Sports Psychology graduate Suzi has considerable experience in the sports sector and has forged strong relationships with sporting bodies, sports personalities and experts across a range of sports in her research for projects.

Her event management skills together with her ability to develop strategic partnerships have led her into business development and sports management.

At JCCM Suzi will be working with the agencies exisiting clients with a remit to develop new sponsorship opportunities and to develop the agencies event portfolio.

Suzi began her career at the Science Museum , London, where she managed the hugely successful Science of Sport Exhibition including liaison with staff, visitors and experts and co-ordinating all asscociated events including corporate visits. She went on to direct the operations and management of a number of touring events and exhibitions across the UK, Europe, USA and Far East.

She is consulting for KCA London on a high profile sports experience that will be housed at the Aspire Sports Academy in Qatar.

Joelle Bailey

Consultant
Joelle has been involved in sport from the start of her career when she worked as a PE teacher at primary and secondary school level and subsequently workign on major sports.

Her excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail resulted in Joelle becoming an accomplished event manager over the past 10 years. She has worked on international events including the Pacific School Games, 2000 Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games, Rugby Union Bledisloe Cup, One Day International and Test Cricket Series, FINA World Swimming Championships and 2006 Commonwealth Games.

Joëlle’s experience has resulted in her being well connected in the sports world and has resulted in excellent relationships being forged with athletes, key sporting organisastions, media, and sponsors. She is also a qualified dance teacher with 15 years experience in performance and choreography.

Bronwyn Madigan

Australia – Manager
Bronwyn Madigan has joined Jane Cowmeadow Communications and Management Pty Ltd to run and build the Australian arm of the business.

She comes from a highly accomplished background in sport – from her university degree – a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sport Coaching & Administration, through to her holding event management roles for the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne 2005, and for the International Cricket Council and Deakin University Student Association.

In the past year she has focused her career on athlete management, the organisation of sporting events, conferences and seminars and is studying for an MBA in Sport Management at Deakin University.

Through her numerous roles she has developed excellent communication and client relationship skills working with stakeholders, sponsors, businesses and governing bodies and is very well connected within the sports industry in Australia.

Bronwyn is a keen sportswoman herself and coaches netball and cricket.

Bronwyn is working very closely with the UK office to develop opportunities for Catherine Freeman both nationally and internationally and to develop the business in the local market.

David Madigan

Australia – Communications
David Madigan is the newest member to join the JCCM team. His role will be to assist in the day to day management in the Australia office and in building of the Australian arm of JCCM.

Through David’s university degrees, he has the sound knowledge to fully support the growth of JCCM in Australia. He has a Bachelor of Education in Business Management and Economics from The University of Melbourne and a Graduate diploma in Public Relations from Deakin University.

He is highly skilled in stakeholder management and relationship building from his experience over a decade as a Leading Teacher and Year Level Coordinator at De La Salle College in Melbourne.

An experienced and successful Senior and Junior Australian Rules coach, David is a keen sportsman. Coaching and teaching has provided David with strong mentoring abilities that he will transfer to his role with JCCM in Australia.
