Ennis Season gets off to a Great Start

Jessica Ennis got her indoor season underway in style in Loughborough on Saturday 9th January when she posted indoor personal bests in each of the disciplines.

She jumped 6.30 in the Long Jump, clocked 8.11 in the 60m hurdles and 13.67 in the Shot, much to her own surprise.

“I was not too sure how I would get on – I was not sure I was ready to compete, but am really happy with how things went,” she reflected.

Coach, Toni Minichiello was really happy with the results referring to it a ‘nice day at the office’.

Ennis will compete next weekend in the North of England Championships on Sunday 17th where she will compete in the High Jump.
