Jason Gardener attends launch of Salmon Youth Centre with Ed Balls Secretary of State for Children

As athlete ambassador for the Youth Sports Trust Jason attended the launch of the Salmon Youth Centre in London with Children’s Secretary Ed Balls. He outlined a comprehensive “youth offer” – pledging world-class facilities and activities for Britain’s teenagers and young people.
The offer builds on the huge progress made since Aiming High: a 10-year strategy for positive activities – including a commitment to build 70 new state-of-the-art “myplace” youth centres with £270m funding.
DCSF and DCMS have been working with the Youth Sports Trust and Sport England.
