Jessica Ennis signs with Powerade up to the End of 2012.

Coca-Cola-owned sports drink Powerade has signed up world champion heptathlete Jessica Ennis as a brand ambassador.

Ennis has won gold at the IAAF World Championships and IAAF Indoor World Championships and has been tipped to be the face of the London Olympics. Her deal with Powerade runs until the end of 2012.

The partnership was announced on the eve of the Powerade City Games in Manchester where Jessica was competing head to head with Olympic Champion Christine Ohorougu over 150m – Jessica won the race in 16.99 secs.

Powerade is the official sports drink of the Fifa World Cup, London 2012, Team GB, the Rugby Football Union and the Football League.
