Steve Lewis Close to Personal Best with Win in Paris.

Steve Lewis came close to his personal best when he cleared 5.71m in Paris to come joint 1st with France’s Renauld Lavillenie, a 6m vaulter and gold medallist at the 2009 European Indoors.
“ I was really pleased with how things went last night, I jumped a season’s best and was really close to 5.81”, Lewis reflected.
The British number one, is coming into perfect form for the World Indoor Championships in Doha next week. He flew straight to Ukraine to take part in another pole vault meet as his final preparation to the Championships.
