Steve Lewis Confident for the Future

Steve Lewis, again made a world final in the pole vault, placing 6th=, in the World Indoor Championships in Doha.

The talented pole vaulter is just 23years old and is making his mark on the world stage – but was disappointed with result knowing he came to the champs in the form to clear 5.80m (he cleared 5.45m in the final).

“ I am frustrated I have not got 5.80m out of this indoors. I think I am in very good shape and 80 would have done some damage at this Championships.

“Every Championships is a positive experience and I am happy to be consistently in finals at majors – I am confident of making the podium in the near future.” he commented.
