Steve Lewis, seventh in the world at the World Championships

Steve Lewis showed poise and composure in the final of the pole vault on the final weekend of the World Athletics Championships – placing seventh in the final with a best jump of 5.65.
“ I am pretty happy with my performance but would really like to have cleared 5.75m. But to be in the final and be in the mix was a great experience – there is so much more to come. I really enjoyed the whole experience and cant wait to compete again,” he reflected.
