William wins 110m hurdles at European Trials

In the men’s 110m hurdles final, William Sharman won the thrilling head to head between himself and Andy Turner. Sharman took the final 20m in smooth form, and crossed the line with A standard for Barcelona.
“I’m happy with my performance today. It’s lovely and warm but there was a headwind and that held us up a bit, but Andy and I didn’t let that get in the way of a great race,” said Sharman.
