Iestyn Harris is known as the 'Jonny Wilkinson' of Rugby League. He is the integral play maker of Bradford Bulls and is one of the few rugby players to have played both rugby codes at International level - playing both league and union for Wales. He became a star making his International Welsh Rugby League debut aged just 19 years old.

Iestyn made his full Great Britain debut in 1996. He then transferred to Leeds Rhino's and became the cornerstone of the Leeds revival. In 1998 Iestyn won the Rugby League Writers Player of the Year, Player of the Year, Player's Player of the Year and Rugby League Man of Steel. In 2000 he captained Wales to the semi finals of the Rugby League World Cup.

In 2001 he switched codes to Rugby Union in a move to Cardiff Blues and Wales. Iestyn made an immediate impact setting a Cardiff Heineken Cup record on his debut, scoring 31 points including a hat-trick of tries. He made his Welsh Rugby Union International debut after just 200 minutes of club experience and gained a further 24 caps. He represented his country in the 2003 Rugby World Cup.

In 2004 Iestyn returned to Rugby League now playing for Bradford Bulls and quickly readapted to life in the Super League. Proving to be a vital member of the Bradford team with his prolific scoring record, Iestyn was once again in the International limelight being selected for Great Britain in the Tri Nations tournament last year. He has been selected for the upcoming Tri Nations Tournament in 2005.

Iestyn lives near Leeds, is married with a daughter and has another addition to the family on the way. Iestyn is currently writing his auto-biography which is due out soon. As Iestyn has played both codes at the highest level he has appeared on TV as an authoritative studio expert for both Rugby Union and Rugby League. He is keen to develop this role when he hangs up his boots.
